OUR COMPANY
Ashokan Water Services was founded in 1997 by a group of water industry engineers (and kayakers and canoers) who understood the challenges building managers faced in managing and preserving water and were determined to lead the way in conserving this precious resource. Their goal was to design and implement water conservation solutions for New York City’s large, water guzzling buildings and to protect and preserve New York’s natural watersheds. Today, Ashokan is proud to be New York City’s premier water management and conservation company.
Our passion for water conservation goes beyond business. Our team serves at the forefront of conservation legislation, boldly advocating and providing counsel for the NYC Urban Green Council, NYC Sustainability Advisory Board, NYC Building Code Adoption Committee, and the NYC Mayor’s Green Codes Task Force. Our knowledge of the intricacies of legislation, water management and plumbing design has provided Ashokan the solid foundation that continues to keep our company at the top of the industry.
